This 48” diameter table is made from a single slab of Bastogne Walnut that has been dyed to mimic the sunburst guitar finishes that gained popularity in the 1960’s. In addition to one of the most striking tops I have ever made, it has been fitted onto a one-off solid walnut spider base. The height is a standard 30”. This table will comfortably seat 4-6 adults. Depending on size and elbow room requirements.

The first (that I am aware of) solid Walnut spider table base. Paired with an incredible Walnut bookmatched top. This piece measures 84×42” and sits 30” tall. This base is based on a steel version that was immesnsly popular with customers. Not just for the esthetics, but for the functionality as well. It is as stable as nearly any other base, but the design also ensures there is not a bad seat at the table. No worries about bumping your leg into a post like with a more traditional design.
